Shipping Update

Hallo,
I reached out to the printing company yesterday to confirm that the books would be shipping on time, and they responded by informing me that the books will be ready to ship by next Tuesday at the latest. While upsetting, this is only a week after expected, and all books will still arrive to you in September. We are all ready to go here otherwise, with lots of extras for all of you as tokens of our appreciation for your patience. I personally would rather sacrifice time over quality, and I am sure you will be getting much more than you've waited for. Just wanted to be forthcoming with the process, and keep everyone informed along the way. Until next news, all the best.

90 surveys unanswered, bookplates, lockdown dates

A whopping 70% percent of you have already completed the Backerkit surveys. I guess you are as ready to receive these books as we are! We are still waiting to hear from 90 of our backers, so if you haven't filled yours out yet, please do soon. We are very excited to share the final design that Cyril made especially for the bookplate reward, as featured above. That's right- everyone who ordered a bookplate will receive an original piece of Aquasixio art! Each will be hand signed by the artist and author, with a sticker backing to affix to the inside cover of your books. Only 400 will ever be made and signed. If you didn't originally order bookplates, or want to order more, please adjust your order using the above link. *Please only order one bookplate per book ordered!* We made the shipping free for these because we only want them to accompany copies of Be Your Beauty, but do not want to send them out seperately. Thank you.
Because the art prints and tapestries take time to be crafted and are chosen individually, we especially need completed surveys from backers who chose those rewards. The art prints will be shipped straight from Curioos separately from the books, while the tapestries will ship along with the books. SO, we are going to be locking down the addresses and charging cards on Thursday August 9th. Please be sure your address is correct for a September delivery, and if you ordered additional rewards, please be sure the funds are in your account by August 9th. We will be forwarding reward info to our printing companies on the 10th so they can begin making the rewards. YOUR REWARDS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL YOUR SURVEY IS COMPLETE.
Lastly, we have added an "Order Now" button to the Kickstarter page, for those who missed the project but would still like to pre-order copies.

A long overdue hello!
Good news!
We have been operating so far under the ideal of only showing up with good news to our backers, but I've learned through messages that you want to be updated no matter what. From now on you will hear about all the ups and downs and ins and outs on a more regular basis. Sorry for the delay, there have been a lot of moving parts. And thank you for your patience!

More news~ not wanting to compromise quality for quickness, and due to the slow roll out following the factory repairs, the shipping date from the printer to me is currently August 20th, so they'll arrive five days later and we can begin shipping them to you at the end of August. As much as we wanted to get these rewards to you on time, they will be arriving a few weeks late and we apologize. We had planned to employ some helper elves to ship around the clock the last two weeks of August, but now we will be shipping into mid September with all rewards arriving before the end of September. Please be sure that your address will work for a September delivery!

Proofs are in and off to the printer!

Greetings!
I’m not usually the biggest fan of Mondays, but today was a great one. The proofs arrived in the mail and they look simply gorgeous! I overnighted then to the printer in Minnesota, so they will begin printing tomorrow and should take about six weeks. We are working through the list of the minutiae for the Backerkit forms and will have those to you by the end of the week. Backerkit is where you will confirm your shipping address, select which rewards you like, and order additional copies and rewards. Upon completion, you will receive your ebooks! We put together two ebook versions- one with full spreads so it looks like the book is open, and the other with individual pages- you will receive both once you finish your survey. So stay tuned for another update later this week, we will ship rewards in the order we receive completed surveys. Thanks for your support, we can’t wait to get these beauties out to you!

Hey everyone!
It's been a few weeks since the prints were ordered, so I followed up with the printing company today. Apparently there were some big malfunctions at the printing factory and they had to fly in specialists from Switzerland and China to get things running again. They assured me that things are back to fully operational and that we should receive the proofs in the next ten business days. I had professional copy editing and graphic design layout done before submission, so I am sure the proofs will be approved. From there, the books will arrive by freight truck in six weeks, so we are looking to receive all the copies by the beginning of August. I am happy to say we are on schedule for August deliveries of all the rewards! We will be building surveys for specific rewards this week and next and will have those out to you by the time the proofs get approved, so stay tuned for an update the week after next.
Chugging right along, more excited than ever to get these into your hands!
